What Is the Paint Studio?

Paint Studio is a full-featured drawing app that runs entirely in your browser — think MS Paint, but with more tools and no install. Draw freehand with an adjustable brush, pencil, spray or eraser; snap out straight lines, rectangles and ellipses (outline or filled); flood-fill areas with the bucket, pick colors with the eyedropper, and drop in text. Tune brush size and opacity, work from a preset or custom canvas size, undo and redo freely, import a photo to draw over, and export a crisp PNG or JPG. Nothing is uploaded — every stroke stays on your device.

How It Works

Pick a tool from the left rail, choose a color and brush size, then draw on the canvas. Use the shape tools for lines, rectangles and ellipses (hold and drag for a live preview), the bucket to fill areas, and the eyedropper to sample a color. Undo/redo any time, import an image to paint over, then export your artwork as a PNG or JPG.

When to Use It

Sketch an idea, mark up a screenshot, draw a diagram, make simple digital art, teach kids to draw, or annotate a photo — any time you'd open MS Paint but want it instantly in the browser, free and private.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Paint Studio free?
Yes — completely free, no account or sign-up. It runs entirely in your browser.
Can I import a photo and draw on it?
Yes. Import any image and it's placed on the canvas so you can draw, annotate or paint over it, then export the result.
What can I export?
PNG (with transparency support) or JPG. Your work also auto-saves in this browser so you can pick up where you left off.
Is my drawing private?
Completely. There is no server — everything happens locally and nothing is uploaded.
